Using new frames, Former Glory lampshade service is a great way to pull an interior scheme together. The shapes are simple and will work in most spaces, and the choice of fabric is your own. Former Glory lampshades are affordable and unique, and work well in homes or commercial schemes and spaces.
The cylindrical lampshades are created using metal frames and British Standard white or clear PVC. The fitting can be used for hanging the lampshades as pendants or from the base as table lamps. Plain fabrics or regular patterns can be used either way. Other more complicated floral fabrics and use of trim will determine a definite top and bottom.
If you would like a lampshade but need inspiration please take a look at the pictures to the right and see if anything catches your eye, we may well have more fabric in stock or can suggest something similar. Vintage, used and interesting fabrics can be sourced from almost anywhere. Please ask if you need help looking for fabric.
We can recover an existing frame and give it a new lease of life. This service is great if you have a lamp that works well in your space but the the shade is tired and worn, you have changed your colour scheme or just fancy a change.
I can use the frames of any cylindrical or conical shades and recover with the fabric of your choosing or my suggestion.

This ottoman blanket box was been cleaned and re-painted, the main colour is Adam Green with rose
pink feet and top to contrast against the green. The inlay sections have been papered in Barbara Hulkanicki designed wallpaper to add extra depth and unexpected appeal to the interior. The top has been recovered, the original stuffing was retained, using vintage stretched velvet fabric with a rose detail pattern. A dusky pink trim was added to finish the edge of the lid. The original gold knob was kept.
